April 29th, 5pm, Dearborn, Michigan AFDI/SIOA, VAST to Host Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference in Dearborn, Michigan at Hyatt Regency Yahoo News NEW YORK, PR Newswire: The prominent human rights organization American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), its Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) program and the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force (VAST) will be hosting the first-ever human rights conference dedicated to exposing the plight of women under Islamic law in Dearborn, Michigan on the anniversary of the honor murder of Jessica Mokdad: the Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference. The Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference will be held at the Hyatt Hotel in Dearborn. After bowing to Islamic supremacist pressure and canceling a speech by Pamela Geller that had been scheduled for a Hyatt in Nashville, Tennessee, the Hyatt reversed its stance, recovered its understanding of the American principle of free speech, apologized and offered AFDI space in a Hyatt for a future Conference to make it up the human rights organization. Geller chose the Hyatt in Dearborn to stand in solidarity there with girls who are in danger of being victimized like Jessica Mokdad. Jessica Mokdad was a 20-year-old Muslim woman in Warren, Michigan, who was brutally murdered in May 2011. Fox News Detroit reported: "Authorities say a Minnesota man killed his 20-year-old stepdaughter in Michigan because she left home and wasn’t following Islam." CityVille Secrets by T Dub – the Top CityVille Guide

Hi, I am going to Brazil for the first time in january, and am meeting a friend in Floripa, but before i go there I would love to see a bit of Rio, is there any guided tours like this? Thanks
There is one named Quality Driver (link 1). It seems that their site is only in Portuguese. I found no English language option.
Link 2 offers several city tours, but no airport pick up service.
Link 3 is the Rio’s official tourist guide.
Have a nice stay in Rio.
Hi, we are looking for the open API which provides city guide in the US for mobile apps development.
We live in Japan and don’t know about the situation in the US. Is there anyway to get this?
Thanks in advance!
Its really simple which cell phone do you have and which city map do you like to add in your PC.just go on that particular cell phone site and you will get the map.
I am making an online website that’s a travel/city guide to a pretty big city (think San Francisco-like, but not New York or London or anything THAT big). Besides the usual, attractions, restaurant listings, information on public transit, the like, what would YOU want to see?
It’s just one city. It’s not like Fodor’s or Frommer’s where I have travel guides to all the cities in the world, just one city. So I need reasons on the website for people to visit.
Thanks!
I’m interested in things that takes me away from the usual tourist attractions. If I bother to travel somewhere I don’t want to see the things that are there for the tourists, I want to see the real deal. A list of unusual attractions would be nice.
Something I always miss is also good information about how handicap friendly things are. How much do I have to walk? How many stairs are there? Are there places where I can rest on the way? Are the doors wide enough for wheelchairs? Are the attractions med in such a way that a wheelchair can get around there? How about bathrooms, are they easily accessible for a disabled person? Is there any help for those that are blind (braille writings and so on)? How hard/easy is it to get hold of a cab if needed?
Once we were told that a place was handicap friendly since it was on the ground level. What they didn’t tell was that only the entrance was on ground level and that everything of interest was several stairs up. No elevator. Another place was easily accessible in general, but, the bathroom was in the basement, no elevator and a narrow stair down to a tiny booth. Thing like this is very important to know before you go there is you or someone that travels with are disabled in some way.
My organization is hosting a concert, which I would like to publicize on the AOL City Guide for my town. I can’t figure out how to submit the when and where details of this event to the Guide. Cany anybody tell me how to do this?

It’s an advertising company who obviously buys other businesses details then sends some paperwork out so that it looks like you want to advertise with them, you sign it thinking it’s something else and few weeks later you get an invoice for 900 Euros. You are also accepting to advertise with them for another year after that. The advert is not worth more than 5p (absolutely rubbish). And why would a small local business want to advertise somewhere in Spain!? Does anybody know about spanish law ?
Report it to your local Trading Standards – they can refer to the OFT in the hopes of getting them blocked, but the jsut pop up again in other guises.
Just search the web and you will see dozens of complaints.
New Unfair Commercial Practices Directive will help as it will make this practice illegal in all EU countries, not just some
There seems to be no user-friendly path to accomplishing this. Or perhaps I am really clueing out??? Please help.
The form at the following link seems pretty straightforward, so I hope it proves helpful:

It’s a travel and city guide to Toronto, Canada, which I’m just starting to build up. The framework of the site is there and online, I just need to update the text and images, and add new features. How can I make it more interesting, to attract YOUR attention (and clicks)?
(Remember, please, that it’s first and foremost a travel/tourism site.)
I tried to have a look but a message appeared saying “I was not authorised to view this page” so I can’t comment on it
